Bonnie Remsberg graduated from Northwestern University in speech and theater and for four decades was a freelance journalist, living in the Chicago area. She published over 1,000 articles for magazines such as: "Reader's Digest", "Ladies' Home Journal", "Redbook", "Good Housekeeping", and "Consumers Reports" in the 1960s through the 1980s.
